An NA group consists of two or more addicts who meet regularly to help each other stay clean. If you would like to start a meeting here is a list of suggestions that may help:

  1. Read the Group Booklet. It contains valuable information on starting and running a meeting, including suggestions for choosing a format and developing a service structure.
  2. Find a meeting facility. We suggest a location that is accessible to many addicts and one that is affordable. Keep in mind our 7th Tradition, which states we are "fully self-supporting, declining outside contributions."
  3. Contact our Area Chair or Vice-Chair.
  4. Register your group with NA World Services.

More information on starting a meeting can be found here on the NA World Services website.
